Past model Chrysler replacement windshields are still widely available. Even though the Crossfire, Aspen, Pacifica, Sebring, PT Cruiser are no long made replacement glass prices are in line with most domestic vehicles.

Aftermarket auto glass is going to cost less than the Mopar brand factory replacement. Many enthusiasts insist on Mopar replacement parts to keep their cars true American heritage. A Mopar windshield generally cost about twice as much a an aftermarket.  Not all glass has a cheaper aftermarket option. Some of the rare Vent Glass, Quarter Glass and back glass only Mopar produces. These special options make for an expensive replacement.

Each vehicle has there own unique character when it comes to glass replacement and requires a technician that is skilled and knowledgeable with the Chrysler brand to ensure a quality auto glass or windshield replacement. Chrysler Windshield Replacement Options:

Along with the brand of glass you choose for your replacement there are many features and options that your Chrysler vehicle may be equipped with.

Acoustic Interlayer- An additional vinyl layer fused into the windshield that helps reduce road noise, making for a more enjoyable ride.

Humidity Sensor- A sensor attached to the windshield behind the rear-view mirror will detect moisture on the inside of the glass and activate the Automatic Climate Controls.

Rain Sensor- A optical sensor attached to the windshield.  It uses infrared light beamed at a 45-degree angle into the windshield which reflects back — if the glass is wet, less light returns to the sensor, and the windshield wipers wipers turn on.

Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist- Using a camera mounted to the windshield the system measures the vehicle’s position within lane boundaries. The system monitors the vehicle’s movement and will provide an audible and visual warning when the vehicle moves onto either line if the turn signal is not activated. During an unintentional lane drift, the system provides a visual warning and uses electric power steering to help gently course-correct the vehicle back into the lane.
